This is an established platform now looking to deepen its biotech coverage.

The Opportunity

A senior analytical role covering the biotech sector within an experienced L/S equity team. The right candidate will have the scientific foundation to interrogate drug development pipelines alongside the investment instinct to translate that into actionable ideas.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain investment theses on publicly listed biotech companies across the development-stage spectrum
• Analyse clinical trial data, regulatory pathways, and pipeline assets to assess risk/reward at the security level
• Generate long and short ideas across the biotech universe
• Monitor portfolio positions and provide ongoing fundamental updates to the PM



What We’re Looking For

• Medical doctor with direct exposure to drug development and clinical-stage assets
• 3–6 years of experience in equity research or a buyside investment role covering healthcare or life sciences
• Demonstrated ability to connect scientific analysis to investment outcomes
• Based in or willing to relocate to New York
