An independent global alternatives investment manager is seeking an Investment Analyst for their Dubai office. The firm is a thematic, multi-asset platform led by industry veterans with deep experience across equities, credit, commodities, FX and macro.

The investment approach is long-term and research-driven, focusing on major themes including energy transition, technology/AI, and structural shifts across supply chains and value creation.

The Opportunity

Support senior investors with sector research, idea generation and financial analysis across public markets. Strong equities focus with exposure to credit, macro and multi-asset strategies. Hands-on position within a small, high-calibre team with real responsibility from day one.

Responsibilities

• Analyse companies and sectors across public markets for idea generation and thematic research
• Build financial models and valuations
• Track structural shifts, industry dynamics and competitive landscapes
• Prepare research notes, presentations and investment memos
• Monitor markets, macro trends and news flow to identify risks and opportunities
• Support due diligence including management calls and site visits

Qualifications

• 1.5-3 years in investment banking, top-tier strategy consulting, or buy-side research
• Strong academic background from internationally recognized university
• Solid financial analysis, modelling, and valuation skills
• Clear communication and presentation abilities
• Demonstrated interest in public markets and long-term investing
