Ascent Search is currently partnering with an alternative investment manager focusing on real estate and credit strategies, with a remit to invest in North America and EMEA.

We are running a team build for Investment Analysts, Senior Analysts, and Associates to join the expanding investment team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals in a fast-growing platform with global reach and regional expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Analysis & Due Diligence

• Conduct comprehensive financial modelling and valuation analysis for real estate investment opportunities across hospitality and residential sectors
• Perform detailed market research and competitive analysis in target markets, particularly UAE and Western Europe
• Prepare investment committee presentations and recommendation memos
• Support due diligence processes including site visits, vendor management, and third-party coordination

Portfolio Management & Monitoring

• Monitor existing portfolio performance and prepare regular reporting for stakeholders
• Assist in asset management decisions and value enhancement initiatives
• Maintain detailed transaction databases and investment tracking systems
• Support quarterly and annual investor reporting processes

Candidate Profile

• Analyst: 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Senior Analyst: 4 years of relevant experience
• Associate: 5+ years of relevant experience

Essential Background:

• Institutional Investment or Advisory experience with demonstrated analytical rigor
• Notable experience in Real Estate
• Experience with developed markets (UK, Europe, US preferred)
• Proven track record in financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence

Preferred Qualifications:

• Transactions experience in Hospitality and/or Residential
• Advanced degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related discipline
• Professional qualifications (CFA, RICS, or similar) advantageous

Personal Attributes:

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly
