Ascent Search is currently partnering with an emerging VC/Late-stage Growth investment platform to find an experienced Investment Analyst. This role will focus on supporting the team in sourcing, assessing, and executing investments across sectors, with a particular focus on India-based companies. The Analyst will also be expected to participate in investor relations and portfolio management workstreams.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end deal evaluation
• Preparing materials such as investment memos, management presentations, and pitchbooks.
• Business development & operations incl. SPV management, reporting, CRM, managing deal flow pipeline etc.
• Macro market analysis.
• Portfolio monitoring, communicating with LPs, Co-investors and other key stakeholders.
• Support deal execution including liaising with multiple Advisors on Tax, Legal, Regulatory, etc. matters.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ full-time experience in: front office Investment Banking, Private Equity or Growth Equity investment.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a highly technical Finance, Engineering or Quantitative discipline (MBA preferred).
• Strong India market knowledge.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills: delivers updates & reports in a clear & concise manner.
