Our client is an alternative investment manager seeking a skilled Associate to join their Investor Relations team in Dubai. As an Investor Relations Associate you will be responsible for maintaining clear and effective communication with the firm’s investors. This includes preparing and distributing regular reports, updates, and fund performance summaries. You will also support fundraising activities by assisting the Head of IR, engaging with prospective investors, and organising meetings and events. Your role will be instrumental in articulating the fund’s performance, strategy, and vision to a diverse group of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Investor Communications:

• Prepare and distribute regular investor reports, updates, and fund performance summaries.
• Develop presentations, newsletters, and other materials to effectively communicate the fund’s activities and achievements. 

Fundraising Support:

• Support the Head of IR, including preparing pitch decks, data rooms, and marketing materials.
• Build and maintain a database of prospective investors, including institutions, family offices, and HNWIs.
• Persistently pursue prospective investors to obtain meetings. 
• Organise and co-ordinate investor meetings, roadshows, and events.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Alongside the Head of IR; address investor queries promptly and professionally, providing insights into portfolio performance and market opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with existing investors to foster trust and encourage reinvestment.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyse data on fund performance, market trends, and portfolio companies.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting to meet investor expectations and regulatory requirements.

Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure all communication and documentation comply with legal and regulatory standards.
• Maintain organised records of investor interactions and correspondence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
• 4 years’+ experience in investor relations, client solutions or similar.
• Understanding of private equity, credit, and real estate investment structures.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
