Description

A Private Equity fund focused on the GCC market is seeking a Director or Managing Director to lead its Saudi team, with a focus on Value Creation activity.

The current team has a strong track record in the MENA region, investing across sectors and focusing on hands-on involvement with management teams.

We are looking for a candidate native to the region (strong preference for a Saudi national), who will take a dual role leading activities in the KSA market and running the Strategy/Value Creation initiatives for the fund.

This is a leadership position which will play a significant role in a a talented team, primed to become a premier, multi-fund Private Equity firm.

Requirements

• Must-have: Top-tier Strategy Consulting OR Corporate Strategy background.
• Preferred: Saudi or other GCC national, with strong networks on the ground.
• Preferred: Mid-market Private Equity investment experience.
• Preferred: PE Portfolio Management / Value Creation experience.
• Excellent technical foundation and & financial literacy – must be well versed in analysing investments, demonstrating sound commercial judgement.

 

“Nice to have”

• Arabic speaker.
• Sector experience in more than one of: Consumer, Healthcare, Tech, Education etc. (of less interest is a focus on Oil, Energy & Infrastructure or Real Estate).
• Digital transformation experience with portfolio companies, corporate subsidiaries or scaleups.
