Ascent Search is supporting a few reputable global investors expanding their ASEAN teams in Singapore.

The investors have a portfolio spanning multiple sectors and focus on buyouts, with a selective interest in late-stage growth or mid-market

The Senior Analyst or Associate roles cover the A-Z of investing, from supporting deal sourcing and due diligence activity, to running the financial models, pitch decks and working with management teams on adhoc portfolio management initiatives.

We are looking for candidates with experience in the ASEAN region – with strong preference toward experience and/or ties to Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Philippines.

Suitable candidates will come from top-tier Investment Banking or buy-side (with proven training in financial modelling and valuations methodologies in a global institution).

Requirements

• Degree from a reputable university (preferred: STEM, Economics or Finance disciplines)
• Experience in Investment Banking (bulge-bracket or leading boutique) / Private Equity (PE preferred for Associates)
• Training and proven experience in financial modelling (highly competent in DCF, SoTP, 3-Statement Model etc.), preparing pitch decks, due diligence etc.
• Analyst: 1-3 years’ experience in Investment Banking and/or PE
• Associate/Senior Associate: 3-6 years’ experience in Investment Banking and/or PE.
• Good knowledge of Corporate Finance and Economics
• Languages: Fluency in any regional language is a plus – e.g. Bahasa (Malay/Indonesian), Thai, Tagalog, Vietnamese
